Marie J Hesse is a German writer and literary journalist. She uses literary techniques to create factually accurate and unique narratives. Her essays have been published in “Im Gegenteil”, “ZEITjUNG” and others. After receiving her diploma in Berlin, she moved to Vienna, Austria. Marie graduated from the University of Vienna with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Cultural and Social Anthropology. With a sense of curiosity and determined to further develop her writing, Marie moved to Edinburgh for one year. Today, she is a freelance writer in Vienna, published three short stories and regularly writes a column in the German online magazine ZEITjUNG.
